Q. Can I have the GT Factory Diablo Door System Elite motorized?

A. We do not offer the GT Factory Diablo Door System Elite with a motorized option because it is the manufacturer and our experience that the installation and parts are very costly. At the same time, through trying to motorize it, you will sacrifice the reliability and daily drivability which are the important advantages designed into the GT Factory Diablo kit. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction and we fully recommend the manual kits.

Q. How do I know if the "universal" Diablo kit will work on my vehicle?

A. We have done a huge variety of vehicles including cars and trucks and although some are harder than others, we are yet to find a vehicle that will not accept the conversion. It does take some intelligence to figure out the correct placement of the parts in each vehicle. The Diablo hinge and or car may need some modification to sit flush against the car and door, so shop around for a custom shop that you are comfortable with doing this kind of work on your car.

Q. Will this be a bolt on kit?

A. It is actually harder to bolt it on because you have to drill your factory hinges bolt pattern into the half inch chromoly base plate and door plate and after you get it bolted up, the stock hinge mount might not be strong enough, so just have it welded on to achieve a quick and reliable install.

Q. Can I open them normally and up depending on what I feel like?

A. Yes, it has up to 25 degrees of horizontal motion.

Q. Have you taken into consideration the weight of the door and glass?

Q. What is the GT Factory Diablo Door System Elite like while in motion?

A. It opens out then up, then closes down and in. It is limited to the L shape pattern. The door will not hit the quarter panel or rocker panel, or the hood, or the A pillar, or the fender. Opening the door like the stock motion before it goes up allows us to use all of the factory locks, latches, seals, and wiring.
